So, one of the great benefits of being a blogger is the opportunity to find out about great products and companies. This Father's Day has proven to be a perfect example of why it's awesome to be a blogger all thanks to a company called RedEnvelope.
Let me explain. For those of you who don't know this--I like beer. I'm not talking I like to drink Coors Lite over ice or that I can't wait to pound Budweisers on the weekend, I like good beer--micro-brews. I like walking into a good liquor store and seeing tons of new micro-brews and trying to decide which one I am going to try. I usually always walk out of the store with four six packs as my imagination gets the best of me. So, when RedEnvelope let me pick a Father's Day gift from their online shop on the house--I couldn't help but go with the MR Beer home brew kit.
So, as promised we have a winner of the awesome giveaway. Using a comlex process to decided the winner (visitin random.org), the winner has been decided. The winnner is (insert drumroll)....Prin! Prin had the fifth comment and that was the winning number as decided by the random number generator (see actual image on the right). Congrats to Prin and Happy New Year to all.
So, as usual--my awesomeness has once again been noticed. Not too long ago, I did a review for Lands End. Personally, I thought a ten minute review of a jacket was a bit over the top even by my standards, but they were impressed and ask me to not only review another product, but to give it away to one of loyal readers. I was all like--heck yeah. My eagerness though met head on with the holiday rush and my review and give away kept getting delayed. So, here we are, two days before Christmas. So, I can't give you a gift for Christmas with the giveaway, but what I can give you is a great gift for the New Year. Onto the review.
For more info on the product simply go to the Lands End site and see why I am a big supporter. Personally, all the colors work for me, but I went with red to do something festive and different by my standards. I am usually a grey kind of guy, so going red was a departure not only in action but in spirit, but I digress. The sweater is dope. Fo shizzle.
The Giveaway
To enter the giveaway simply go the website and leave a comment here saying which color and size you would like to win--that's it. One entry max per person.
Feel free to tell a friend:
You can get additional entries by telling friends.
Twitter the contest for an additional one entry per tweet. Leave you twitter status update link in the comments here for proof. (5 tweet max)
Write a blog post about the contest linking to Joeprah.com and the Lands End Sitefor an additional 10 entries. Leave a comment here saying that you did so, because I am no mind reader.
The giveaway begins now (whenever you are reading this unless now is past the end date) and the last day to enter will be December 31st. I will announce the winner on January 1st in a post here at Joeprah.
If you play your cards right, you can get up to 16 entries into the contest and basically ensure yourself a victory. I am sure Prin in Canada could give this to her dad, or maybe WeaselMomma in Chicago or Melisa could give this to the men in their lives. Actually, I can't see why anyone wouldn't want one of these. So, enter the contest and good luck!
So, with that being said, , Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah & Happy Kwanzaa to all!
So, yeah, I was given a new winter coat from Lands' End and in return I agreed to review their product. Pretty much the definition of a win win relationship. I get warmth; they get a Joeprah review. Anyways, check out my review below--it's entertaining, informative and for some reason I can't stop watching it over and over.
I recently had the pleasure to test out a really cool product from a real life inventor mom. After talking to her a few times on Twitter I decided to check out her site and, you know what, she came up with something brilliant.Ladies are wicked smart and Laura Hamrick and OnTray2Go definitely prove that adage. What I like most about the product is the simplicity in its design and concept.I tested the product out at the local grocery store and it was a blast. The kids loved it and so did I.
I make no apologies for my blog. I make no claims to be accurate, influential, harmless, harmful or impervious to criticism. Like Mel Brooks once said...
