Somethings make me smile more than others. Seeing a grown up using a kids' toy as a tool always brightens my day. I have done this myself many times because A) I have opposable thumbs and B) my IQ is staggering. Now that I said my IQ is staggering I will mispell at least ten words. Back to the toys, I have used toys to stand on to reach things around my house, I have used them to help me reach things under our couch, and I have used toys to help me see in the dark. Toys seem to come in handy more than you would think. I also think that little baby toys, due to their sturdiness, are capable of being used more often. As children get older the toys get smaller and less useful. I mean, what the heck am I going to use a "Littlest Pet Shop" for? Anyways, I thought it would be cool to keep a running journal through posts whenever I see toys being used for other purposes besides their original intent. I got this idea when I saw my wife perched atop a sturdy little plastic desk chair in our closet. She is on the shorter side, but still super hot, and this little chair has come to her rescue many times.
