Kids move around a lot when they sleep. They sometimes fall out of their beds. They sometimes are sleeping on the opposite end of the bed in the middle of the night. Sometimes they are half on and half off. My toddler takes this a step further and gets out of her bed to sleep in other locales. Sometimes its the floor, sometimes its in her closet. Its like TJ Max, "Never the same place twice." Anyways, I wanted to show everyone where she wound up this time.
![]() This time she fell asleep in her tiny, little toy chest. I like to call this "Sleeping Angel," however it almost seems like she is sleeping vampire style all up that toy chest, so I will call this "Sleeping Toddler Vampire."

Fear not....Joe may be a man....I know where you're coming from as a woman, but he's very cautious when it comes to his precious girls. Their toyboxes either have safety lids for ventilation if it shuts on his baby girls or no lids at all.

Going for vampire. Sorry for creeping you out. My site is light hearted in nature and apologize for any undo anxiety. Perhaps I am naive but I don't know what a snuff photo is. I hope that clears up the issue.

I stumbled backward onto your site this morning... this is one of the first photos I saw... Without really knowing the context of your site I have to say this is a pretty distrubing image. I think it is because only the child is B&W - the photo creeps me out. I don't think you intended for it to look like a snuff photo, but it does. 3

I like the fact that even though your little on is sleeping, the knees are still bent. Awesome. The site looks freaking FANTASTIC btw. Oh, and in case you didn't get the message, I'm going head to head with you for hottest daddy blogger award. You have been warned...

:upset ...your point. That's why I check on them, at least a couple times. Also, I punch air holes in the boxes I put them in at night so I think that keeps them well ventilated through the night. Seriously, that lid doesn't close unless yo pull down hard and it has a gap, it isn't tuperware. LOL.

Okay, I'm a Mom and all, and my kids have fallen asleep in some wacky places, but this scares the crap out of me. What if the lid shut and she was still asleep? Couldn't she suffocate?

I've found my oldest in some weird sleeping places too. We have pictures of him sleeping in a laundry basket & one of my favorites is where his little brother is sleeping on his head (both were fast asleep).

One time my son crawled or fell out of bed and went to sleep under it. My husband and I were in a panic looking for him in the wee hours of the morning. :eek

:zzz I wonder the same thing. I think she deliberately did this though, there were toys all strewn on the ground besides the toy chest. She basically emptied it and then got it...not sure what that looked like...her stepping into her toy chest to sleep, but I would pay to see it.

Aww! How do they do that? Seriously. lol. You should install a hidden video camera and get some "secret footage" lol. Wonder if she woke up and decided to play and then thought it'd be fun to lay with the toys...and then fell asleep...or if she never woke up and just sleepwalked it? Huh...

Hay, :grin As long as you can sleep and you are comfortable is the main thing. I know I couldn't survive like that long.

LOL funny but cute
I wonder how comfortable she really was the other night my older son rolled over in his bed and hit the wall (this is not uncommon) giving my man an awful fright LOL My youngest has been known to take his afternoon nap standing up with his head resting on my office chair ![]() 15

:p Our boys used to crawl up on the diaper table and use it as a set of bunkbeds to sleep.
Even now in their teens we find them all over the place. 17

We ended up having to put Xander's (my 5-year-old) mattress on the floor because he is such a crazy sleeper, so I can definitely relate!
Great pic--that will be a good one to show to potential boyfriends when she is a teen, don't you think? :grin 18

Too funny, and so darn sweet!
Sienna always falls out of bed when she sleeps with me, always. Gives me one heck of a fright. Now I have to sleep in her big sisters bed with her, so she is aginst the wall ![]() 20
