I have spent much time pondering philosophic questions.  Why are we here?  Why am I here?  What does that guy next door put in all those black trash bags?  Pretty standard really.  What about kids though, why are they here?  I have been crossing that one off my list for a while now as I have come to find many uses for them.  Kids may appear to be detrimental to any work load you have, but I have found that the exact reason that makes them difficult to utilize (lack of strength and size) actually makes them perfect for certain tasks.

Working Hard For That Penny

GREAT AT RETRIEVAL MISSIONS

Kids not only can easily get in and out of tight spaces, but they are also equipped with limbs much smaller then ours.  I am not sure exactly how much pennies are worth, and I don't know where they come from, but the value is in watching the little ones work to get them back.  Its like Easter everyday.  Also, kids are easily bought off.  I heard of this kid that mowed a neighbor's lawn for a twizzler and a cupcake.  Really.

Now You Can Flush

OK. OK. YOU EARNED YOUR M&M.

Kids are awesome.  I love them.  They can be difficult at times, but as they grow up they prove that they are learning.  All kids learn differently: some slow, some medium, and others medium slow.  As long as they are learning is what I say.  Learning leads to smarts, and smarts leads to being trainable.

As Least She Is Trying

I SAID FLIPPERS!!

For all of my fellow stay at home parents out there are some tips.  Teach your children to laugh at themselves as much as they laugh at you.  Never leave them unattended near an interstate.  And teach them respect for their elders.  The rest is easy.

You're not going all "Rear Window" now on us and watching the neighbor when you should be watching the kids...watch them they start with pennies and next thing you know they have $25 worth of YOUR pocket change stashed away. Trust me it happens :zzz
