My wife and I have different mindsets generally speaking. I tend to be a little more open and flexible and she seems pretty rigid and concrete. Overall it makes for a good balance but sometimes we can have disagreements because of our respective natures. For instance the other day I told her how my day at home went. I proceeded to tell her when our older two daughters got up from their nap. I said, "They were getting up around the same time I was giving Sophia (our youngest) a bath." "What time was that?" She asked. "It was around 4:30." "Don't you think that is a little late in the day to give her a bath?" She snapped. I thought for a second, as I was confused, and replied, "Its not like she is going to work or something. I mean as long as she get bathed eventually isn't that the point? If she were going to school or a job interview then I would make sure she was cleaned and ready to go first thing." I suppose there are some positives to hiring a baby, I just don't know what they are. The drawbacks are pretty alarming, I mean their pants are always falling down and shoes are constantly missing. Once their shoes are off they have to take their socks off. They seem to do strange things like put stickers on cats or put their hand inside a cup of milk and cry after they get wet. They spend a large amount of time laying on the floor and spitting up. Not to mention all the kids I have been around make a noise when they walk fast like they are running down hill. Babies, toddlers, whatever are always panhandling. Begging for food, drinks, candy, asking to be picked up, to be put down. Now why should I worry what time they get bathed? I know they don't care. Really.
