As a parent in the age of technology I inevitably have set my kids down in front of a TV show once or twice (or maybe many hundreds of thousands of times more than that) and it always scares me to see what happens to the kids once they begin to watch a show. They turn into something else, something frightening. Why write about it when I can just show you what I mean in video format. Enjoy this movie which is part metaphor, part entertainment, part some other thing I can't think of. Scary stuff.

It gets worse when they start to drool and then their brains start oozing out of their ears. If the TV ever breaks I'm sure they'll start stumbling around looking for brains to eat.

I thought I had seen all the Max and Ruby episodes. Obviously I missed the ZOMBIE one.

hehe... I had cousins like that (that we used to make fun of
). We only had the one channel growing up, so we got tired of tv pretty quick (until more channels came in, lol).4

Yeah, I randomly woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. This apparently is also when I commented about a fanny pack, which I don't remember what I said. HA!

LOL... nice video. It is scary to see how passive kids are infront of the TV. Love your little zombie head.

Those zombie's are cute. And it's so weird to hear Max and Ruby with American accents.

Just remember, when dealing with Zombies it's either you or them. Sometimes the magic mirror is the only thing between sanity and zombity. Getting the Zombies to agree on the choice of sedation however can be a challenge at times....

LOL! But they are such quiet little zombies. Who can really complain?

Don't know why this is so funny 'cause it's played out all the time in my living room, but you scored. It made me laugh. You're some sort of comedic, dad-genius or something.

Currently we are using this to our advantage. L is sick and when she wakes in the middle of the night, her brain candy dvds are sometimes the only thing that will totally stop the fussing and crying. Once she stops crying, we can get more food in her belly (when she wakes up, she gets hungry again), and then cuddle her until she's relaxed and off to bed again. Thank goodness for braincandy dvds! (Only she will giggle at them...and keep looking back to make sure we haven't left or aren't doing anything more interesting...)

Wow, you nailed it. I usually have to bang on the kitchen counter or sneak up behind them and scare them out of zombie-mode. Of course, when I do what any normal mom or nanny would do, which is turn off the tv after asking 654 times what they want for dinner, I'm suddenly the most horrible nanny ever.
