I Said What? Volume I | Print |  E-mail
Written by Joeprah

This is a series that I owe all to my good friend MomoShe had a post the other day that reminded me of a log I was keeping of all the crazy things I have said to my kids in my short tenure as a parent.  You know, parental type things like, "Get your feet out of your milk!" or "Don't ride your car on the wall!" or "Don't put your finger in your ear, who knows where that thing has been!"  Anyways, instead of use my old material, I will just call upon fate to provide me with content.  This shouldn't be a problem, because A) my kids routinely do stupid things, and B) I am not shy in calling them out on being thick headed.  Anwyays, as fate would have it, today (the first day I was on alert) my youngest child made me say, "Don't put your french fries in your chocolate milk!"  Click the photo below for the bigger version.

Chocolate Fries

Is she too cute or what?

Not an American thing that I know of Huck. Maybe it's a typo.

I've had to say "Don't spit in my shoe" and "Don't lick your sister's foot" so try not to feel bad. :grin

"Don't ride your call on the wall!"

Explain please. No matter how many times I say this to myself, I cannot figure out what you are talking about here. Is it an American thing?

I actually taught my son how to dip his french fry into his milk shake and then eat it. Have you ever tried it? It's divine. Of course, you have to eat the fry immediately or it just becomes gross and soggy. Kind of like the one in your picture.

Happy to oblige. But, ew. That picture is making me gag!! Not the sweet face, but the soggy fry.

My daughter (who is NINE and should know better) did something similar yesterday. I'd tell you, but I'm saving it for a post...of course!

EEEW on the french fry in the chocolate milk, but "Awwww..." at the cutie in the photo.

My younger one (okay, he's 13) dips his french fries in soda sometimes. I still don't know why. Who likes a soggy fry? (Other than him and your daughter, apparently...)

Actually, I've said that before... and often. I looked at your pic, and didn't even have to guess what it was. My youngest is all about putting his food in his drink!!

You get the best pictures though, always, hands down!

And YAY for Momo love!! I heart Momo!!

I heart you too! smilies/wink.gif
