I have been wanting to post/brag about something for a long time.  Since Christmas my youngest daughter potty trained herself and as a family we have been out of the @-!-i-t for about four months.  It is absolutely amazing!  I am sure other graduations or new stages in our children's lives are important, but having all three of my stinkers out of diapers will always have a special place in my heart.  Anyways, I put a video together with the potty theme in mind that shows everyone an image I see before my toddler and I get ourselves showered in the Voice Recordermorning.  Don't worry, the video is clean.  Also, I would like to give mad props to Olympus for their awesome digital recording products.  I have been using the VN-3100PC to record my daughters voices for the last month plus and it is great.  It has a USB connection and converts the audio into a usable format that your computer can recognize.  The VN-3100PC alone isAudacity Rules just OK but anytime you want to edit audio files for personal or public use you need to be using Audacity.  Audacity is quite possibly the best free software on the net...uh, I mean after Joomla and Firefox of course.  I use Audacity to edit all of my voice recordings.  You can trim audio clips and merge them together seemlessly.  Audacity has a toolbox full of effects you can use to transform your audio clips.  The possibilities are staggering.  All these files you create can be exported as mp3s.  To good not to explore.  Anyways, here is another mind blowing video for your enjoyment.  Holla!

Audacity is so awesome that I use it regularly at work. Love it.

Congrats on no diapers! WOOOO! I remember the day well. It's akin to not having to clean out a septic tank every day. OK, every other day.

Agree with stewartallyn on the flap going outside. It's far more practical than reaching behind the roll in a futile attempt to locate the loose end of the paper.

LOL! So cute! I remember the sense of freedom when my youngest was potty trained. Ah. I still have to help wipe poo, though. That's not so bad. She just says, "Mom. Wipe," and I come running.

Joe, you are really good at this. I need to put up a show for the children in May and need to record their voice and some music. My problem is how can I combine several songs (one or two verse from each song) and merge it with the children's voice? A tough one but I figure you would know. Any advice?

Let me just go die of cuteness overload.

Hey, I bet you'll have so many great videos to show the girls' boyfriends the first time they come for dinner at your house. Smart man!

Joe that is so cute. Is she dry at night too? Miss M is still in nappies at night but I plan to work on that over the summer.
