This is the second installment in the series that looks at the many uses of kids toys.  In this video edition you will see what happens when necessity once again becomes the mother of invention as a stalled helium inflated balloon is stuck at the apex of a cathedral ceiling.  The editing in this video may not be for all tastes, but it is already being touted as a marvel of modern cinema. Enjoy!

AN UPDATELater that day the balloon was smushed with a broom thus forcing the helium out and sinking Garfield into my waiting and capable 'balloon throwing out' arms.

Sweet, another Soul Coughing fan! PG and I were just chatting about Soul Coughing/Mike Doughty and his new album Golden Delicious this past Friday.

Oh, the vid was amusing too! I've long wanted to shoot Garfield in the eye. (Incidentally, Garfield the cat was named after Jim Davis' Grandfather.)

Where are the kids screaming "Don't pop my balloooooooonnnnn"? Maybe you really don't have children and you are just a fraud?? No kid in their right mind would let their parents pop their balloon in broad daylight. Just frying your chicken! Good work with the gun modification....sweeeet! Word!

I have to say that your wife is not only cute, she is a pretty good shot. Those balloons live forever, don't they?

I have both a ladder that's long enough and a yard stick. Holler if you need either. :)

That reminds me of when I used the spray attachment on the sink to wash the kitchen floor.

Just wet down the floor, then tie a few towels to your feet and slide baby slide....
